Green Infrastructure & Economic Vitality – Three-Session Online Training for Planners and Practitioners, September 2, 21 and 28

by Arturo Herrera on August 27, 2015

While clean air, clean water and healthy local food are crucial for a sustainable and secure life, local governments often don’t consider the health of the landscape in their planning processes. Join SSF, Island Press and Karen Firehock, founder of the Green Infrastructure Center (GIC) and author of Strategic Green Infrastructure Planning – a Multi-scale Approach, in a three-session online training presenting a new way of thinking about natural resources as our infrastructure.  Session 1 is free and the cost for the in-depth training in sessions 2 &3 is $100 total, but $79 for early birds.
