‘Global Warming’ Music Tour to Begin in June

Veteran rock band Aerosmith will play arenas throughout North America during their Global Warming Tour slated for this summer, promoter LiveNation announced Monday, according to Billboard.com.

“We just like to light fires under people’s a***s, and what better title than ‘Global Warming,'” lead singer Steven Tyler told CNN.

“I think it’s the first time we actually get to go out and play some new songs from our new record for our fans, along with the good old ones, or the old good ones, or whatever. So I can’t wait to bring this thing home,” band member Joe Perry told CNN.

“We’re almost done [with our new record]. We have two more songs to go, then we’ll have it in your face before you know it,” Tyler told CNN.

“After touring Japan and South America last year we’re psyched about bringing it all back for the hometown fans,” bassist Tom Hamilton told Billboard.com. “We’re going to break out the classics, the hits and maybe even some of the new ones we’ve been banging out in the studio. Can’t wait to get to Minneapolis!”

The tour kicks off June 16 at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minn. The rest of the tour schedule is as follows:
